Group Training Classes

We run group puppy training classes for young puppies to learn foundation skills, and also weekly 'life skills' classes to support you through adolescence and beyond!

1:1 Training

We offer 1:1 sessions to help you tackle your training issues, whether you are struggling with indoor issues like toilet training or jumping, or perhaps need to cover things like pulling on the lead or recall.

Puppy Packages

We offer a variety of puppy packages to suit all needs, from breed selection, puppy preparation, early training skills, nagivating adolescence and beyond!

Canine Hoopers

Hello and welcome to Confident Canines Dog Training

We offer a wide range of options for training puppies and dogs of all ages to suit your (and their) individual needs.

Covering Leyland, Buckshaw, Euxton, Chorley, Preston, South Ribble & most of South Lancashire

Our group training classes are based in Leyland but we typically travel up to 10 miles for private training, covering most of south Lancashire.

Emma is qualified and registered with the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers, member 01703) and the ABTC (Animal Behaviour & Training Council) so you can rest assured knowing you are in excellent hands! She is also an Accredited Canine Hoopers UK Instructor and a UK Hoopers Platinum Pro instructor, as well as being a member of the PPG (Pet Professional Guild) and adheres to the UK Dog Charter ethical training guidelines.

Puppy Classes

Our 7-week Puppy Foundation Course is for puppies aged up to 20 weeks on the start date of the course. These classes run at Halls for All in Leyland. During these courses we cover all of the important foundation training skills that a puppy should learn early in life. In addition to the in-person training, attendees also gain access to our private Puppy Training Hub on our website where you can view all the training material and also video demos supporting all training exercises covered during the course.

We have a maximum of 6 puppies in each class to allow plenty of space between puppies and individual attention from the instructor so that your puppy gets the most out of their time with us.

Progressive Life Skills Classes

For puppies that have completed our puppy training course or who have had 1:1 training with us, these classes help you to progress your training from foundation level, developing real life training skills. During the summer months, we also offer outdoor classes for putting your skills to the test in the 'real world'!

One to One Sessions

If private 1:1 training sessions suit your needs better, our sessions are tailored to address specific topics you may need help with. These sessions either take place in your home or at a public location agreed prior to the session.

Puppy Packages

We offer a variety of training packages for puppies from early development and onwards to help support you through their adolescent phase. Sessions are tailored for your individual puppy to address specific training needs.

Canine Hoopers Classes

Emma is an Accredited Canine Hoopers UK Instructor and a Platinum Pro UK Hoopers Instructor, training dogs to competition level. She hosts Canine Hoopers taster workshops as well as regular Hoopers classes for those looking for something a little bit different (but also fun!) to do with their dogs on a regular basis. If you prefer, there is also the option of 1:1 Hoopers training too.

Short Courses & Training Workshops

We offer a range of enjoyable training workshops to fine-tune your training skills and most importantly; to have fun with your dog! Choose from Reliable Recall, Tricks, Lead Walking Skills, Canine Hoopers and Scentwork.
